All you need to prepare a brew burger for three members are

3 Slices of sweet cheese,
3 whole wheat rolls,
3 slices of sweet onions,
1 lb ground beef and

Step 1: Combine the beer and the steak sauce in a cup, cover it and put it to microwave on “high” for at least 1 minute.

8tea bags,
2 ½ cup pineapple juice,
1 cup sugar,
2 quarts boiling water and
6 oz. Frozen lemonade concentrate.

Direction

Step -1: Combine the mint sprigs, tea bags and sugar all together.

Step - 2: Pour boiling water over the mixture. Cover it and let steep for 25 minutes.

Step -3 : Remove all the unwanted mint sprigs and tea bags and pour the thing into an large punch bowl.

A Special Breakfast For Father's Day

Start off the day with a roller coaster breakfast and see the wonder you can create with this. It's also easy to prepare.

Ingredients:
Eggs – 6
Milk – 1 cup
Flour – 1 cup
Melted butter -- 2 table spoon
Powdered sugar
Salt -- 1/2 tea spoon

Direction:
Preheat the oven to 450 degree. Beat the eggs and mix it with flour properly. Add salt, milk, and melted butter. Take a 9x13” pan, butter it well and put it into the freezer for 10 minutes. Keep the mixture aside and leave it undisturbed for some time. After 10 minutes pour the mixture into the cold pan and bake it for 20 minute; then lower the temperature to 350 degrees. Cook it for 10 more minutes. Sprinkle sugar powder on it and serve it with butter.

Etymology-the word 'necktie' has its roots in French "cravatte", which again can be traced back to the Croatian "croatta".

Louis XIV of France spread the rage on seeing this fabric around the neck of the Croatian soldiers. From then on, Croatia is considered to be the mother country for today's necktie.

History And Trends-the necktie exists as a symbol of social status from ancient civilizations to modern times. It was used by royalty in Rome, China and Egypt and continued evolving with time. The necktie was fashioned on shapes and styles of tying. The popular models were to wear the necktie representing the countries of origin-Russian, American, Italian, Irish-experimented with such a model of the necktie. And, in between they had colored stripes with black backgrounds. But this black background was gradually replaced with time. Modern ones came after World War I and the dark, black backgrounds of the necktie were replaced with bright colors.

Modern necktie was born with the design of Jessie Lansford from New York. This happened in 1924. The necktie was cut on the 45 degree bias, divided into 3 parts, and then sewn up. Lansford sold his patent later. After World War II, artificial silk was used to make neckties. Large ones prevailed in the 70s and narrow ones popped up in the 80s. Eastern patterns were also incorporated in the designing of the necktie. The necktie became more innovative and imaginative in the 90s-elements from cartoon, ecology, carpet, art, architecture made their presence felt in the necktie designs. And designer neckties with new fabrics came in the 21st century. Wool, satin, silk, Teflon was clubbed, mixed and matched to produce unconventional designs in the necktie.

Young children often seem to just accept things the way they are. But by four or five, children are starting to think for themselves about whom and what they are, and they are also starting to think about their parents in a different way. This may be partly because starting school brings them into contact with many different people and new ways of seeing things. At this age, children start to be much more aware of their own wishes and needs, and their growing independence also shows in them getting firmer views about what they expect of their parents.

But what do children of this age really want from their parents? What do they want them to be; friends, helpers, role models, providers, comforters, judges, counsellors, cooks, taxi drivers or just to be there for them?

When I started building the ‘Best Dad, Best Mum’ materials and 2005 series survey, I thought that I had better find out what research had been done into what five-year-old children say they want their parents to be. So I did all the right things, I did a literature search, I asked around my colleagues and I Googled. So what did I find? Would you believe me if I said ‘nothing’? Because that is indeed what I found. Although lots of research has been done into what children need from their parents to support their development, and a lot of research has been done into what is harmful for children, there was a resounding silence from children themselves. Somehow, no-one has yet thought of systematically finding out what children themselves want in the way of parenting.

Perhaps our Child of Our Time survey, ‘Best Dad, Best Mum’, is going to launch a new line of research in this area. At the time of writing this essay, the results are already beginning to look interesting. Looking at the results across all age ranges, and there have been over one thousand responses so far, ‘being there for me’ and being ‘trusted’ are the most important features of both mums and dads alike. It is also important for mums to ‘comfort and hug’ whereas it is more important for dads to ‘talk with me’.

But there are also differences emerging between children of different ages as well as differences between boys’ and girls’ expectations. What about the children closest in age to our CooT children?

4-year-olds most want dads to play and talk with them, while they most want mums to be there for them and comfort them.

5-year-olds want dads to be there for them and to praise them, while they want mums still to comfort them, but also to be trusted.

6-year-olds still want dads to be there for them, but also to earn money, and although they also want mums to be there for them and still to be trusted, they also want praise from them.

Although boys in this age range are not as interested as girls are in mums comforting them, they are even keener than girls on mums being there for them, reading to them and being clever.

When it comes to dads, boys seem more interested in dads mucking about, being trusted and reading to them than girls do. Girls, though, put dads comforting them, giving them nice food and treats as more important features than do boys.

So, already by this age, children are beginning to develop different expectations of male and female parents. But perhaps it is important also to stress the similarities. The differences between ages, and between boys and girls are not astronomical. What all the young children share, is a wish for parents to be emotionally close and involved with them. One way of putting this, even if it is in more adult terms, is that children want to feel secure in their relationships with their parents. Particular things seem to express closeness for children: things like being comforted, being read to and, to use a modern phrase, ‘being there for them’.

Home Made Gifts For Your Dad: Few Tips

1. Make a Kite with Dad
Things You Need
* Plastic trash bags
* W wooden dowels (1/8")
* Plastic tubing (1/8" inside diameter)
* Nylon string
* Posterboard
* Pen
* Scissors
* White marker
* Glue
* Sandpaper
* Tape measure
* Duct tape

How To Make It
First, trace your sail. Make a template from posterboard and use it as a guide to cut out the plastic bag sail. Next, make a skeleton, by connecting the spine (the backbone that runs down the length of the kite) to the spars (the support sticks that extend horizontally over the spine and out to the sides). Now it's time to connect your kite. For this, take a short piece of plastic tubing can be used as a spar connector. To add a little strength, bend the edges of the sail over the skeleton before taping them together. End your craft with a tail. A tail or, a long strip of paper, or plastic, adds drag to your kite and gives it stability.

2. How to make a Paperweight
* Buy or ask someone to help you find a small block of heavy wood;
* Buy or find a single piece of fine sand paper. Sand the block nice and smooth;
* Paint the block a nice bright color;
* After it's dry, decorate the top with one of your school pictures;
* Decorate the sides with other pictures, stars, hearts, stickers--use your imagination!
Give your gift a nice shiny finish by using a clear acrylic spray. The acrylic also will protect it .
Use a Clear Acrylic Spray
Acrylic spray costs just a couple of dollars at your local hardware store. And, it will be useful for many other art projects.
Ask someone older to help you follow all directions for using it.

3. Make him his favorite dessert
* Plan to do it the Saturday before Father's Day. Ask someone to help you get him out of the house.
* Make enough for the whole family, including you!
* Frost it, sprinkle it, write on it with special icing—make sure Dad sees how much you love him!
* Store your creation in an air-tight container so it won't spoil. If it needs to be kept cold, ask your helper to keep it for you in the refrigerator.

4. Handprint Poem or Quotation/s
This is a gift for an adult to make with a young child. It's a poem or quotation/s, with a handprint and an optional photo of the baby/preschooler. This project is EASY to do.

Things You Need
* Small child in play clothing.
* Print out of handprint poem (make extra copies).
* Optional small photo of child.
* Water based paints - finger paints or tempera paints.
* Bowl or something to hold the paint.
* Brush or sponge to apply paint to child's hand.
* Paper towels or some other way to do a quick cleanup!

How To Make It
Write a significant poem or quotation/s about Father, Father's Day, or Fatherhood. For this, you can choose one from any of the 60 Poems from NetGlimse's Poems for Father's Day page, or collect one or more quotations from NetGlimse's Quotations for Father's Day page. There are lotssa poems & quotations for you to copy. Format and print in your favorite word processor.

What to do:
1. Print the poem (make extra copies).
2. Apply the paint to the child's hand, then press their hand to the paper near the poem. This might take several attempts to get a good print, patience is the key.
3. Clean that little hand, before you get handprinted, too!
4. Personalize with the date and name (if it isn't already).
5. Let dry, then glue on a photo, if desired.

5. Father and Child T-shirts
Things You Need
* T-shirts in appropriate sizes for both father and child
* Crayons or markers for child to draw picture with
* White paper
* Local photocopy center (see tips for alternative method)
* Pencil
* Fabric paint in colors to match child's picture
* Straight pins

How To Make It
1. Have your child draw a picture, any size, of anything he or she wishes to draw for his or her Dad.
2. Go to your local photocopy center and enlarge or minimize the child's drawing so it will fit on a father's shirt and also for the size of your child's shirt. By making a matching shirt for your child, you can surprise them too.
3. After copying your child's picture, draw around (using heavy pressure) the general outline of the copied picture on the back side (use a window if needed to see through the paper), sized for the father, with a pencil.
4. Put the picture face down on the father's shirt.
5. Color the entire back of the picture with a pencil while it is still in place on the shirt. You may want to pin the picture to the shirt so it doesn't move around while you are coloring.
6. Unpin the picture from the shirt. You should have a lightly transferred copy of your child's picture on the father's shirt in pencil.
7. Use fabric paint and paint in the picture on the father's shirt using the same colors your child used.
8. After copying your child's picture, draw around the general outline of the copied picture, sized for the child, with a pencil.
9. Put the picture face down on the child's shirt.
10. Transfer and paint the shirt just like you did on the father's shirt.
11. Wrap up the two shirts and have your child present it to his or her father. Your child can even make his or her own wrapping paper.

The concept of celebrating Father's Day is very new in India. The idea of celebrating Fathers Day has been imported from western countries mainly US, perhaps less than a decade ago. However, it is remarkable to note that the idea of observing a day in honor of fathers has been appreciated by Indians to a large extent. Today, millions of people in India observe Father's Day on the third Sunday of June by expressing gratitude for their father or men who are like father. Father's Day celebration in India takes place in the same way as in UK or US though in a limited way. Awareness about Fathers Day festival is much greater in metropolitan cities and bigger towns due to the greater exposure of people to the western cultures in such places. But thanks to the rigorous advertising campaign launched by card companies and gift sellers the idea of celebrating Father's Day is fast catching on with people in smaller towns and cities of India.

Father's Day in UK is celebrated in much the same way as it is celebrated in US.
